Welcome there! Hera Process is an Open Process For IT people who need to deal with small and medium web projects. Unlike other heavy processes Hera gives you a ready to go solution with concrete examples and documents. It's currently under development and can't wait for your feedback!

Why Hera Process

It's unfortunately not uncommon in new IT companies to see a huge lack of project management even though process solutions like Pince2 or Agile exist among many others. According to the The Standish Group(external link), 65% of the IT projects are over time or budget or fail! But learning from those processes takes time as they aren't IT specific, are abstract and don't give a 'ready to go' solution. Using them for small and medium projects like website might be too much. The idea of Hera emerged from this statement as an attempt of a very simple 'ready to go' framework for processes.

It's currently a big draft which can't be edited and it's waiting for reviews. The next step will be to build chapter 2 & 3 and chuck a nice design with some fun pics like http://pingmag.jp/2005/12/09/the-website-development-process/(external link) (still waiting for author answer to use them). Then the ideal future will be a constant improvement of the process and resources by many contributions!
